Parking

The AUT Millennium carpark offers all users 90 minutes of complimentary parking per day. On arrival please enter your license plate number in the machines provided and select your parking time. You will need to enter your details regardless of parking duration. There is a fee of $2 per hour after the first 90 minutes and complimentary parking is offered once per day. Please also be aware that AUT Millennium is a very popular facility and we recommend allowing an additional 15 minutes to park and check in at either National Aquatic Reception or the Speedo Shop reception.

Machines are located in the car park, at the entrance of the National Aquatic Centre, outside the AUT Millennium building and also upstairs in the Gym.

Please be aware that parking is operated by IntelliCo and not AUT Millennium. If you have any parking related questions please get in touch with IntelliCo directly.

Checking into your lesson

AUT Millennium has two swimming pools and the procedure for checking into your lesson in slightly different for each.

AUT Millennium building – Small Pool and Main Pool

If your swimming lesson is in the AUT Millennium main facility, you will need to check in to the Speedo shop located on the ground floor next to Little French Café. Direct Debit and Terms and Condition forms must be returned on your first lesson if not before. You will be issued a personalised swipe card that you will need to bring to all lessons. Our reception team can show you where and how to swipe this card.

AUT Millennium has a number of different user groups swimming at any one time and you will be given a coloured plastic card that your child must give to their teacher. This card shows our team that you are a part of our Swim School family and that all payments are up to date.

Small Pool swimmers

The changing rooms and entry to the pool is located at the southern end of the building.  If you are unsure of where to go please ask and a staff member will be happy to show you the way.

Main Pool Swimmers

Entry to the AUT Millennium Main Pool is also located at the southern end of the building, however lessons are taught at the northern end of the 50 metre pool. Please talk to the Swim School supervisor who will be there to help you and your child find the correct teacher and lane.

National Aquatic Centre – 25 metre learner’s pool and 50 metre Pool

When you arrive at the National Aquatic Centre, please return your signed direct debit and terms and conditions forms to the reception team, if you have not done so already. A personalised swipe card will be issued to you and the receptionist will show you were to swipe this card to access the pools.

The National Aquatic Centre Learner’s pool is located to the left hand side as you walk into the pool area. Our friendly swim school supervisor will be happy to show you where your child will be swimming.
