Everyday Champion Programme.

The Everyday Champion programme is a series of seven individual sessions with a Gym instructor, designed to give members personalised attention without the cost of a personal trainer. The sessions cover physical assessments, nutrition advice, goal setting, stretching techniques, and programme introduction and review. This is a complimentary programme as part of an AUT Millennium Gym membership.

What’s covered in the Everyday Champion sessions?

Vision

In this personal profile session, our qualified instructors will assess your health and fitness goals and take you through a comprehensive physical assessment, including a health questionnaire, heart rate recovery test, muscular endurance and body composition measurements.

Action

To ensure you get the most out of your workout, our instructors will design and demonstrate a workout programme targeted at achieving your health and fitness goals. Learn correct technique, weight selection, range of motion and much more.

Extend

After 1-2 weeks, your programme and progress will be assessed to get you the best results. Individuals may expect some tweaks in exercise advancements, weight selection, technique, reps and/or sets depending on your confidence level and ability.

Nourish

Nutrition plays a crucial role in improving your fitness performance, body composition, energy levels, recovery and overall well-being. In this session, receive helpful information aimed at reviewing your eating habits to achieve your goals.

Stretch

Stretching improves muscle recovery, and increases mobility and flexibility. Learn about facilitated stretching, foam rolling, pressure balls and therapy bands to give you better fitness performance and results.

PT Push

Experience a fun, challenging and rewarding one-on-one session with a Personal Trainer aimed at attaining the health and fitness results you desire. Our PTs specialise in a variety of backgrounds, including muscle building and toning, strength and conditioning, performance fat loss and nutrition, and post-rehabilitation of injuries.

Review

Six weeks after your first session, your physical assessments, measurements and goals will be re-evaluated to help keep you on track to be an Everyday Champion!
